Another Kickstarter Update
There’s this idea that when you run a Kickstarter campaign, all you do is sit at home and hit refresh to see if the numbers go up. So far, that hasn’t been my experience at all. Of course, that may be that I launched my campaign at about 10 PM one night, then got up early the next morning to get on a plane. I haven’t been home since the Kickstarter started. It’s been a crazy month. Between travel, conventions, posting updates, putting up new goals and reward levels, and answering questions from backers or prospective backers, I haven’t had time for anything else. When I have talked with people at conventions, it seems like they’ve always had a more up-to-date figure on how the Numenera Kickstarter has been doing than I have.
Speaking of which, the Numenera Kickstafter campaign is now over $220,000! So cool. We have now bypassed fifteen different stretch goals. Those goals have resulted in a total of five different support products including the newly achieved technology guidebook. We now have a method to allow people to contribute to the campaign via PayPal, and yet still get the same rewards as if they had pledged to the Kickstarter.
There’s still two weeks to go in the campaign, and there are still cool goals ahead of us. This whole thing has been so amazing. Thank you to all the supporters for making this project happen.
