Online Design Seminars
I’ve been doing a series of online design seminars. These have been primarily for Numenera Kickstarter backers, but a few other people have purchased “seats” for them as well. There’s still one left in the series, held on January 9th and again on the 12th. It’s on Working in the Game Industry and will be about how a product gets created, what it’s like to work as a game designer, and tips on “breaking in.”
While the Kickstarter backers have priority, you can get access to the Jan. 9th seminar by clicking this link. Or, if you’d rather attend the Jan. 12th seminar, click here.
You can also watch a recording of past seminars. The first one was on Game Design Basics. The second is on Designing a Game From the Ground Up. The fees help cover DriveThruRPG’s costs for hosting these. I’m grateful to them for making this possible.
Each seminar is 2 hours long, and the attendees have so far said that they found them entertaining and valuable.
