Greetings from the Actuality, vislae!

Today we have an abbreviated Cypher Chronicles for you. Darcy, Tammie, and Charles are traveling back from a retailer and game manufacturer trade show (GAMA), and have a few lovely things to show you.

We showcased a mock-up copy of the Invisible Sun Black Cube, and it presented some hilarious logistical challenges to even display most of what we have. It really caught some eyes, and I loved running brief little Development Modes to show off how the Sooth Deck works!

These are a lot of the components we were using in The Raven Wants What You Have, of which the new episode, “Wards, Pacts, and Casual Trespassing” airs tonight at 7 p.m. Pacific, with the players live in chat! I’m celebrating this very heist-y episode by livetweeting Ocean’s 11 at 4:30 p.m. PST, so feel free to come watch along with me!

We also got to see some other folks’ curious creations, which was a blast.

Tammie discovered a cool apocalyptic card game called Conflicted, where “the goal is to live another day without losing what makes us all human.” How far will you go to survive?

O’Hare airport after a bevy of flight delays was making me wonder whether I hadn’t entered the apocalypse myself. Perhaps I can barter this deck for rations.

Darcy got to play in a demo of a very cute introductory role-playing game, Robit Riddle from Kevin Craine and Atlas Games, with THE CUTEST robot art! Here is the creator, Kevin Craine, giving Olivia and me the pitch:

We learned an enormous amount at GAMA and loved getting to talk to your local retailers about carrying our games, running our Cypher Play organized play program, and getting ready for our big 2018 releases: Invisible Sun and Numenera Discovery and Numenera Destiny. Can’t wait for next year!
