Cypher Chronicles, vol. 45-2016

Iadace, and welcome to Cypher Chronicles!

Holiday Shipping Deadline is December 10th

If you want your order from the MCG Store to arrive in time for Christmas or the start of Hanukkah, you must place your order by 1 p.m. Eastern Time on December 10th. (We’re still able to process orders after that date, but we can’t guarantee they’ll arrive in time for the holidays.)

New Items at the MCG Store

The Thief, the Clave, and the Ultimatum is a new instant adventure for Numenera. It works well as a one-shot or fits easily into any Numenera campaign. And it’s a great launch point for adventures taking characters Into the DeepInto the Night, or to the forthcoming Into the Outside.

Last month we announced the new Cypher System playmat, and we already had the Numenera playmat in our store, but The Strange playmat had been unavailable since the original Kickstarter campaign for The Strange. Now we have The Strange playmat in stock in the MCG store!

If you have a young gamer in your circle, why not get them No Thank You, Evil!? Or, if they’re a little older, the Numenera Starter Set? Or if they’re ready to jump in with both feet, try the Numenera corebook bundle, The Strange corebook bundle, or Cypher System rulebook bundle?

And while you’re shopping at our store, don’t forget the MCG Holiday Gift—we give you a $5 coupon, which you can use at the MCG Shop to make a donation (at our expense) to charity. Or you can take $5 off a gift for a loved one (or yourself). Find all the details here.

Sciencing Up Predation

Shanna is wearing her dinosaur obsession proudly, and her research for writing Predation means she had an excuse to ask actual paleontologists scientific questions about dinosaurs.

The Poison Eater Excerpt

Tor has posted a long excerpt from Shanna’s novel The Poison Eater. The release date is January 2017, but backers should be getting it this month.
