Adventures! (Numenera Product Line-Up, Part 2)
I think adventures are important for many reasons.

I’m Monte Cook. I’ve been a writer for 25 years. Most of that time, I’ve designed tabletop roleplaying games, but I’ve also published novels, short stories, comics, and nonfiction. Feel free to check out my blog, The Chapel Perilous, my various projects, or my two different game publishing imprints, Monte Cook Games and Malhavoc Press.

"That's not cheating, that's awesome."
No, this isn't a post about a billion years from now. But about stuff happening now, this summer, and next year.
The success of the Torment: Tides of Numenera Kickstarter's got me thinking a bit about the original Planescape: Torment game. Which of course brings to mind Planescape itself. The Planescape tabletop rpg setting, created by David "Zeb" Cook, taught me a lot about rpg setting design.
ReaperCon: Denton, TX on April 19-21.
Nine Worlds Geekfest: London, England, August 9-11.

I was recently interviewed by Michael at The Id DM. I was also on the Writing Excuses Podcast and the Beaucoup Pop podcast.
My short story, “Sundown at Sorrow’s Hollow” will appear in the anthology, The New Hero, now out from Stone Skin Press.
