Friday November 9th

11:00am—Monte Cook Games Seminar (Waubesa Room)
Description: Come and spend some time with Monte Cook and Shanna Germain of Monte Cook Games. They will share what they are currently working on and what we can look forward to from Monte Cook Games!

1:00pm—Into the Darkness (Boardroom, table 211)
Description: Can we bring light to the darkness? With the advent of the new Numenera Discovery and Numenera Destiny books, we look to try to do more than just survive in the Ninth World, but actually make it a place we want to live.

5:00pm—Ask the Design Professional Anything… (Waubesa Room)
Description: Join designers and industry leaders Monica Valentinelli, Elisa Teague, Shelly Mazzanoble, and Shanna Germain for an amazing question and answer session in which they will field your questions about the design process, getting a game published, marketing your game, and any other questions about the tabletop gaming industry. If you are an aspiring game designer, you will not want to miss this event!

Saturday November 10th

11:00am—Time and Tyrannosaurs (Kegonsa Room, table 217)
Description: Come play Predation with the designer, Shanna Germain! You grew up in the Cretaceous Period, surrounded by dinosaurs, volcanoes, and stories of the broken time-travel that brought your parents here from the far future. In “Time and Tyrannosaurs,” you, your friends, and your dinosaur companions are on a mission to save the world. Or at least each other.

Darcy L. Ross, Community Relations Coordinator for Monte Cook Games, is a storyteller, scientist, and community organizer. Across media, she aims to highlight people doing good things in the gaming community and to bring new people into gaming. She co-hosts the podcast Cypher Speak, has blogged for the award-winning Gnome Stew, and has worked to support marginalized voices in gaming with ConTessa. Darcy lives in a small but powerful aldeia of tabletop creatives in Hyde Park, Chicago.
